People are concerned about the process in which to buy window coverings when they purchase or renovate a  home. The best option when purchasing window treatments is having the option to see the products in the store. We carry products from a number of manufacturers, Hunter Douglas, Shade-O-Matic, Graber and CBM.  Do you need blackout blinds, do you need heat reduction, energy saving blinds, top-down/bottom-up?  Are your windows oversized for certain types of features on window coverings?  Do you need battery operated blinds or motorization? By seeing and using the actual blinds and various operating systems you will become educated on the benefits of each product and understand how they operate.    This will help you make the best decision in regard to which products will suit your needs.  Sheila's trained staff will explain the various types of products, operating systems and what may be best suited for your windows.  Drop by the Store and try out the various operating systems on our blinds!

We greatly appreciate customers that bring their  measurements into the store, so we can pick out blinds, shutters or draperies and  give  prices until a product is found that fits within your budget.   Once you have decided on window coverings that fits within your budget and you are ready to purchase, we will bring the samples to  your  home for you to select colors under your home's natural lighting  conditions and accurate window measurements will be taken.  This enables you to color coordinate  your selections to match such things as wall paint, cabinetry colors, carpet, tile or  hardwood flooring.    These are all factors on how your window treatments will look.

If you already have a product in mind, such as Duette, Silhouette, Pirouette or Shutters, you can also measure your own windows to get a  quote over the phone.  Some people prefer to measure & install themselves.   If you prefer to do it yourself, see our measuring guide to find out how to take proper measurements for window coverings.

Cheapest prices are not always the best. Lower prices can often mean little or no service. Small companies selling window coverings with very little profit margins, are here today and gone tomorrow!

We offer competitive and fair prices, without  compromising  service.  In order to make decorating affordable to all,  we carry lower priced brands to high end brands. We do try to educate our consumers, that cheapest product is not always best.  Let us know your budget, so that we can price the right product for you. Our prices are as competitive as the big box stores and on entire house orders our prices are often lower than the box store prices, our customers tell us so!!! We have been here for over 20 years, we are a storefront, we don't operate out of a van, so you can feel secure when your order is placed.
